Aztec, New Mexico UFO Incident

While most of the world has heard of the Roswell Incident, there’s a lesser known, yet incredibly important event that occurred a mere 8 months after rancher Mack Brazel found the wreckage on his Coronado land. Titled the “Aztec UFO Incident”, this crash occurred in Aztec, New Mexico, just 370 miles away from Roswell.

The Incident

Locals discovered a saucer shaped craft perched atop a mesa in New Mexico. Its origin was unknown, its purposes unclear, but it was mostly intact, unlike the spacecraft wreckage from its Roswell predecessor. Onlookers believed the craft was forced to make an emergency landing near Aztec, and witnesses flocked to the scene to explore the site and see the scene before U.S. military officials arrived and cut off public access. According to witnesses, some curious townsfolk even went inside of the craft to explore. As most UFO sightings are known to go, the government warned locals to protect the secretive nature of the site… or else.

Aztec Today

Many Aztec locals still protect the stories of their families related to the crash. Suzanne and Scott Ramey are some of them, dedicating over 32 years to research, collect information, and pursue leads on the little-known case. They have even gone so far to compile their findings in a book, The Aztec UFO Incident: The Case, Evidence, and Elaborate Cover-Up of One of the Most Perplexing Crashing in History, which you can find in our library and gift shop. Like them, the witnesses they’ve worked with are 100% certain of the validity of the incident. There is no doubt that Aztec is home to the site of a flying saucer crash, not just any conventional, man-made aircraft.

Final Conclusions

The evidence of this crash is compelling and through the work of many, a number of the facts surrounding the incident have been validated. Skeptics may never be able to truly see what lies in front of them, but as Stuart Chase once said, “For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don’t believe, no proof is possible.”
