Paul Davids is originally from Bethesda, Maryland, and he graduated from Princeton University and the American Film
Institute Center for Advanced Film Studies. Beginning in 1985, Paul was production coordinator for the original “Transformers” animated TV episodes (79 of them) for Marvel Productions and wrote some of the scripts, too. Lucasfion chose Paul and his wife, Hollace, to co-author 6 “Star Wars” sequel books (“The Glove of Darth Vader” etc.) that sold millions of copies. Paul went on to produce ten films, including “Roswell: The UFO Coverup” (1994, Showtime) with Kyle MacLachlan of “Twin Peaks,” Martin Sheen and Dwight Yoakam. Paul wrote, produced and directed five TV films distributed worldwide by NBCUniversal, including a film about Vincent van Gogh (“Starry Night”), “The Sci-Fi Boys” (with
“Lord of the Rings” producer/director Peter Jackson), “Jesus in India,” “Before We Say Goodbye” and “The Life After Death
Project.” His recent books include Blowing America’s Mind (A True Story of Princeton, CIA Mind Control, LSD and Zen) and An Atheist in Heaven: The Ultimate Evidence for Life After Death?
