Author Sharon King has been an early childhood Teacher, Program Coordinator and a Director in childcare centers for over 26 years. She has always liked doing arts and crafts and working with children. Over the years, she has made many fun activities to share with children. Sharon King’s book Junior Alien Zone is a fun and interesting arts and crafts and activity book about Aliens.
Sharon never thought she would write a children’s book and then it happened. In the summer of 2004, she and her husband took their niece and family on vacation to Roswell, NM. While they were there, they learned about the UFO Festival held every July. Sharon had so many ideas, she started to write them down and before she knew it, her book was born.
Thirty-three days after Junior Alien Zone published, Sharon had her first book signing at the International UFO Museum & Research Center’s 2009 Roswalien Experience UFO Festival. The book received a lot of attention and positive exposure.
During this year’s 2010 Roswalien Experience, Sharon will be hosting a children’s arts & crafts booth as well as some mini-workshops for the adults. So bring the Kiddos to the Museum and they can join in and experience their own Roswalien Fun.
The Adult workshop running about 1 ½ hours with a fee of $8.00
The Children activities are come and go with a fee of $1.00
